… AND YET THE TIME TO DECIDE IS DRAWING NIGH! We gotta admit.  We’re flummoxed … At this point during the 2012 presidential election cycle, we’d already made our “First in the South”

endorsement (supporting the candidacy of then-U.S. Rep. RON PAUL).  That was an easy choice, as none of the other “Republican” candidates came anywhere close to aligning with our

pro-freedom, pro-free market views. Hell, when liberal “Republican” MITT ROMNEY won the GOP nomination, we endorsed Libertarian nominee GARY JOHNSON in the general election. This year things

are a bit different … To be honest: We fully expected to be lending our imprimatur to Paul’s son – U.S. Senator RAND PAUL – but that obviously isn’t happening.  And it’s clear no true

supporter of freedom and free markets could ever embrace a candidate like JEB BUSH, BEN CARSON, CHRIS CHRISTIE, LINDSEY GRAHAM, MIKE HUCKABEE, JOHN KASICH, MARCO RUBIO or RICK SANTORUM. That

leaves us deciding between billionaire real estate mogul DONALD TRUMP, U.S. Senator TED CRUZ of Texas or former Hewlett-Packard CEO CARLY FIORINA. Do we like those options?  Yes and no …

While there’s no clear-cut favorite for us in the current GOP field, we’re far more pleased with these options than the ones we were presented with four years ago … although that’s not

exactly saying a lot when you stop and think about it. Obviously we’re gratified to see Trump upending the “Republican” primary process, we just haven’t decided yet whether that in and of

itself is cause for endorsing his bid. We shall see … Oh well, while we ponder our endorsement (and yes … endorsements are like a certain other thing that everyone has) we were wondering:

Where are you on the presidential race? _Have you made your choice yet?_ Vote in our poll (below) and let us know …
