The 24-year-old became the youngest quarterback to win a NFC championship game. Goff threw 297 yards after completing just 25 passes off 40 attempts and he also registered one touchdown and

one interception. The game came down to overtime and victory was sealed for the Rams after Greg Zuerlein made a 57-yard field goal with 11.47 left on the clock. When asked for his reaction

to making it to Super Bowl LIII, Goff said: “Unbelievable man, I can’t put it into words. “The fight we have, being down I think it was 13-0. “To comeback and for our defence to play the way

they did to force it to overtime. “The defence gets a pick and Greg makes a 57-yarder to win, which was good from about 70, unbelievable.” It was the second clutch kick Zuerlein made in the

game, as with 19 seconds left in fourth quarter he converted a 48-yard field goal to send the game into overtime. Goff admits things didnt quite go to plan in the game winning drive . “We

were just trying to score and get into field goal range,” Goff added. “I actually messed a couple of things up there on a couple of plays.” Goff explained why the Rams gave so many carries

to C.J. Anderson and not Todd Gurley. Anderson had 16 carries for 44 yards, while Gurley had four carries for 10 yards. “We just had to feed off what we were doing and C.J Anderson was

running the ball well,” Goff said. “And I expect Todd Gurley to have a hell of a game in the Super Bowl though. “And I can’t believe I am saying that, its surreal but we are ready to go and

Todd’s ready to go.” The Rams picked up Anderson before Christmas as their first-choice running back Gurley picked up a knee injury. The Rams will play the winner of the AFC conference

Championship game the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots in the Super Bowl in Atlanta. The Rams have played in three previous Super Bowls, beating the Tennessee Titans 23-16 in

Atlanta in 2000 when they were the St. Louis Rams. They last appeared in the title game in 2002 when they lost to the New England Patriots 20-17.
