It was reported earlier this month that famous singer Shakira had grown unhappy at the treatment of her husband and Barcelona star Gerard Pique. Though adored in Barcelona, Pique's
frequent jibes at Real Madrid have soured his reputation in his homeland. The player has cut a frustrated figure at times this season as Barcelona have fallen behind Madrid in the La Liga
title race. And Spanish outlet Don Balon claim Shakira is so unhappy in Barcelona it risks creating a dressing room divide. Many Barca wags are said to enjoy a close relationship off the
pitch. Lionel Messi's wife Antonella Roccuzzo and Luis Suarez's wife Sofia Balbi are close friends but Shakira prefers not to associate with any partners of the players. The report
claims her unwillingness to integrate with Pique's team-mates has created a genuine divide in the dressing room. Barcelona players are said to be unhappy at her reluctance to
associate herself with them. And that could mean trouble with Pique who could have a big decision to make should the situation deteriorate further.
