Burnley goalkeeper Arijanet Muric reportedly spent over £40,000 celebrating the Clarets’ return to the Premier League, including a very generous tip to one waitress. Vincent Kompany’s side

secured promotion at the first time of asking following their 2-1 win over Middlesbrough earlier this month, as scenes of jubilation at the Riverside continued long into the night back in

the north-west. The party appeared to move across to Germany as a waitress in Munich has detailed how Muric and his friends celebrated long into the night, with little thought given to the

cost as the Kosovan also extended his generosity to 25-year-old Chantal. The business administration student hailed the “very pleasant” guest as they visited the Filmcasino nightclub a few

days prior to promotion being secured. The establishment is known in the city for accommodating Bayern Munich stars as they attempt to go unnoticed while enjoying the nightlife, as Chantal

told Bild that Muric and co racked up an eye-watering £31,752 bar bill. Almost 40 bottles of Dom Perignon champagne and 10 more of Armand de Brignac champagne - owned by Jay-Z were enjoyed

by the group, as well as four bottles of Moet & Chandon Nectar, a demi-sec champagne, and bottles of Chivas Regal, which sat in bathtubs next to their tables at the club. Muric was said

to have bought a round of drinks for everyone in the club before settling his bar tab and then handing a tip to Chantal of £8,800. “I invited the whole house [and] shared my winnings with my

colleagues,” she said after explaining what the student did with the money. “To the bouncers, DJs, service staff, even the toilet attendant, I gave something.” Chantal revealed that it was

the largest bonus that she had ever received, though previous patrons had tipped in the four figures. She described Muric as: “A very pleasant guest, very accommodating. He created a good

atmosphere.” Bild requested a comment from the player, but none was forthcoming before publication. The night out interestingly came a few days before Burnley's promotion to the Premier

League was secured, but the goalkeeper clearly was confident that he and his team-mates would secure their return to the summit of English football. Muric joined Burnley from Manchester

City for £2.5million last summer, joining up with former team-mate Kompany. He has made 38 appearances for the Clarets, conceding just 29 goals and Pep Guardiola’s outfit did insert several

clauses to the deal to ensure that they would benefit from the stopper. City have a buyback option, the ability to match any forthcoming offers, and a percentage of his next sale should they

not wish to bid for Muric in the future.
