Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward reportedly believes Borussia Dortmund are trying to hold his club to ransom during talks for winger Jadon Sancho. United have been using

most of their efforts this summer to try and sign the England international after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made him their No 1 target. Woodward finally got a breakthrough earlier this week when

Sancho spoke to Solskjaer to discuss salary expectations and agent fees. All that is left to sort is the price which Dortmund want to sell their 20-year-old star. The Bundesliga side

demanded £108million at the start of the summer and they are not budging from that valuation. Woodward feels it would be unrealistic to pay such a fee given how hard their revenue streams

have been hit by the coronavirus pandemic. THINK YOU KNOW SPORT? TEST YOUR SPORTING KNOWLEDGE WITH OUR TRICKY QUIZ If anyone knows what it takes to make the move from the Bundesliga to the

Premier League it is ex-Bayern Munich and United midfielder Owen Hargreaves. And he thinks Sancho would adapt well if he were to complete a move to Old Trafford. Hargreaves said: “I hope he

comes over here. He would be perfect for United. “I don’t think they (Dortmund) have much of an argument because they’ve pretty much sold everyone, whether it’s been (Robert) Lewandowski,

(Mats) Hummels, (Mario) Gotze or (Ousmane) Dembele. Everyone has pretty much left there. GET NOW TV SKY SPORTS SEASON PASS AND SAVE 25 PERCENT “We know they are a selling club and it’s

obviously about money. “In Jadon, as much as we are in a difficult space right now with everything going in the world, it will be money well spent. “You just have to get the deal done. “You
