British F1 driver Lando Norris expressed his excitement about potentially experiencing a Kansas City Chiefs NFL game following his chance encounter with Travis Kelce, the club's
three-time Super Bowl-winning tight end. Norris, who recently claimed victory for the first time in F1 at the Miami Grand Prix, ran into Kelce at Carbone Beach while celebrating his maiden
win. Kelce is not just an NFL star but also an investor in Alpine, a rival of Norris's McLaren team. The incidental meeting has spurred hopes for Norris of attending a Chiefs game in
the future. The pair even swapped contact information, promising a greater likelihood of making Norris' dream of attending a game come true. "He was an awesome guy," Norris
gushed on Radio 1 about Kelce, who is reportedly dating music sensation Taylor Swift. "We exchanged numbers and hopefully I can get to a [Chiefs] game one day. He's about double my
height, but he was a legend." Remaining positive about future races, Norris firmly believes that McLaren can keep up with Max Verstappen and Red Bull in the coming years. Verstappen,
who currently holds six pole starts from six races and four race wins, is set to face strong competition from Norris. _FOLLOW US ON X_ _FOR THE BEST AND LATEST IN SPORTS NEWS_ "We can
win more races this year, we can compete against Red Bull," Norris confidently told Sky Sports News. "We're looking at an exciting season between us, Red Bull, Ferrari. We
still have work to do, we're not at the level they are just yet. There's going to be races that we're competitive enough but on average we're not quite where we want to
be. We still have our feet on the ground. We have more work to do." When asked if he could compete for the title next season, he confidently responded: "100%. I'm saying that
still with my feet on the ground! Absolutely. We have two great drivers, an amazing team behind us, and we're closer than ever. As much as I said at the beginning of this year, we can
win races, I want to believe and should have the confidence to say next year, we can go for more, [take] the next step." Norris is hot on the heels of Verstappen in the Drivers'
Championship, with the Dutchman aiming for a fourth consecutive F1 title. Verstappen leads Norris by 53 points as they head into Round 7 of the 2024 campaign, with Italy set to host the
first of its two races. Meanwhile, Kelce is making the most of his offseason. The 34-year-old recently signed a new two-year deal with the Chiefs worth $34.25 million, as the team sets its
sights on an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl victory following their triumph over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. The football star was spotted at his
girlfriend's 87th show of her "Eras Tour" in Paris, rubbing shoulders with Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper as Swift took centre stage.
