WHO IS HOSTING BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT 2018? The latest series of the reality show is starting this evening, Saturday, April 14 on ITV at 8pm. Britain’s Got Talent will again be kicking off

with the judges touring the country to seek out the nation’s brightest stars. However, there will be one star missing from the BGT 2018 line-up after ITV confirmed that Declan Donnelley

would be hosting the live shows alone. In a statement, the broadcaster announced: “Dec will be hosting the live shows which for the first time ever are coming from the Hammersmith Apollo

while Ant steps down from his TV commitments for now. BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT 2018 JUDGES "We send Ant all our love. And we know that Dec will do a brilliant job.” His professional

partner Ant McPartlin announced that he would be taking time out from work “for the foreseeable future” after he was charged with drink-driving. McPartlin will be appearing in the

pre-recorded auditions of the new series which were shot last year before the scandal broke. Hosting duo Ant and Dec have been working together for 30 years since starring in teen series

Byker Gorve. Earlier this month, Donnelly hosted Saturday Night Takeaway solo for the first time ever in the wake McPatrlin’s departure. One of the episodes from the current run was

cancelled and Donnelly went it alone for the remaining two. WHEN DOES BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT 2018 START? He received praise from audiences for his efforts as he fronted the all-important

series final of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway live from Florida. Hosts Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams will be returning to the panel to give their

feedback to the hopefuls. Judge Dixon really spoke about the upcoming show, teasing on ITV’s Lorraine: “You’re in for a treat this year. “We have been spoilt for talent, we are over the moon

with the turnout. Britain has not run out of talent.” She also addressed reports of a behind-the-scenes spat between herself and fellow judge. Dixon added: “It’s all very relaxed backstage!

“We put on our slippers and robes, eat our lunch and have a cup of tea!” They will be whittling down the auditionees to choose finalists to take part in the live shows. Once again, the

winner of Britain’s Got Talent will be performing at the Royal Variety Performance. _BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT 2018 AIRS ON ITV ON SATURDAY AT 8PM._
