Episodes has won awards and rave reviews since the first season aired in 2011. Now, after a two-and-a-half year break, the show will return will its fifth and final season. Matt LeBlanc will
head up the cast again, joined by British comedy royalty Tamsin Grieg and Stephen Mangan - who play Beverley and Sean Lincoln in the show. The show follows the husband and wife duo as they
try to bring their UK sitcom to America - with Matt LeBlanc, playing a satirical version of himself, cast to star in their show. WHEN DOES IT STAR ON BBC? HOW MANY EPISODES? Unfortunately
for Episodes fans, this will be the last series of the show. Series creators David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik have long said that they planned for the fifth season to be the final one since
the show began. In a statement they said: "We've told the story we set out to tell and we'd never want to outstay our welcome." The final series was broadcast in the US
in August 2017 - so Brtis have had a long wait. Episodes will now air tonight (March 30) on BBC Two at 10pm. The final series, season five, will air over seven 30-minute episodes. Tonight,
the show will go up against Fast & Furious 7 on ITV, a new comedy called Lee and Dean on Channel 4 and the Will & Grace reboot on Channel 5. Tamsin Greig said she applauded the
decision to go out on a high. “I’m a real fan of the bravery of knowing when to leave a party. When it’s time to go home, it’s time to go home.” LeBlanc says he was first persuaded to take
on the part in Episodes by his old friend Crane, who one of the co-creators of Friends. “I did have a reservation in the beginning. I wasn’t comfortable playing myself,” LeBlanc told
Variety. “But they said, ‘Well, we’re not making a documentary. If there’s anything you’re uncomfortable with, we’ll change it. We’ll get through it together.’ "And it was because of my
history with them that I really felt comfortable.
