Death in Paradise season 10 episode 5 and 6 cast: Who guest stars tonight?

Death in Paradise season 10 continues on January 5 on BBC One as the second part of the show's double bill. The latest outing sees the Honoré Police team deal with a gripping murder case as

well as reintroducing some of the show’s former stars. Here’s everything you need to know about the guest cast of the latest episode and what you know them from.

Friday night's episode of Death in Paradise picks up after the shocking cliffhanger of episode five.

The official BBC synopsis reads: "The team have their work cut out in this dramatic conclusion to the two-parter.

"Neville (played by Ralf Little) must solve a mystery from the past that unlocks the truth of who murdered the concert pianist and why.

"Help is at hand, though, with the return of a former sergeant."

Grace Verdinikov is played by British actor Lia Williams in episodes five and six.

She is one of the suspects in a murder enquiry as well as being good friends with Catherine Bordey.

Williams has had an acclaimed career so far on stage and screen.

Some of her roles include playing Wallis Simpson in The Crown and Edith Montgomery in Doc Martin.

Adrian Schiller joins the cast as an acclaimed pianist and Grace’s husband Pasha Verdinikov in the show.

Viewers will also recognise Schiller from Beauty and the Beast, Suffragette and Bright Star.

Grace and Pasha’s son Joseph is played by Sam Retford in the new episodes.

Retford is best-known for playing Cory Wilson in Ackley Bridge as well as starring in Casualty and Hollyoaks: Tom’s Life.

Niamh Cusack appears in the episodes as their housekeeper Maggie.

Viewers may have previously seen Cusack as Dr Kate Rowan in Heartbeat as well as the film In Love with Alma Cogan.

Luke Bailey also stars in the episodes as Delford who is the family’s gardener.

Bailey played Sam Bateman in Casualty and Marley Kelly in Waterloo Road.

The BBC has teased Sara Martins will also be returning in a guest role as Camille Bordey.

However, not too much has been revealed about how the actor will be coming back for the first time since season four.

Speaking to Express.co.uk and other media at a recent Q&A, executive producer Tim Key dropped a hint.

He said: “She’s in a two-part story. She comes in late in the first episode and it's tied into her mother played by Élizabeth Bourgine.

“She gets involved in an investigation that involves Catherine, and it was just great to see those two acting together again.

“And it's incredibly moving. It's really nice. Don [Warrington, Commissioner Selwyn Patterson] has some lovely scenes with Sara as well.”

Death in Paradise season 10 airs on Thursday and Friday this week.
