Photographs from Sunday showed actress Helena Bonham Carter playing jet-setting Princess Margaret while filming for the third season of the series. Helena, 52, was seen disembarking from a
mock-up of an RAF plane surrounded by paparazzi with Harry Treadaway in tow, who is playing the Princess's toyboy lover Roddy Llewellyn. But the late Princess and any of the Royal
Family would have been upset if they had been on the flight for real - the flag on the inside of the door is upside down. Before accepting the role, Helena allegedly hired a psychic to
contact Princess Margaret to get into character and she certainly looks the part, wearing chocolate-coloured Seventies fashion and a grim expression. Known for her roles playing more
unhinged characters, such as Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter films, as well as her roles in Fight Club and Alice Through The Looking Glass, Helena cuts a more Royal demeanour as the
Princess, who died in 2002. Netflix is staking £100million on The Crown and Season Three will feature a cast of new actors depicting the royals and famous historical figures. Bonham Carter
has replaced Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret while Olivia Coleman has taken over from Claire Foy to be the Queen. Speaking about taking the role, Helena has said: "I'm not sure
which I'm more terrified about - doing justice to the real Princess Margaret or following in the shoes of Vanessa Kirby."
