North Korea, amid heightened tensions with the US President, has recalled ambassadors to Pyongyang, and while Mr Trump would favour a “diplomatic” solution he will also have a more
aggressive plan to hand, said Mr Scaramucci. Mr Trump promised to retaliate with “fire and fury” after reports emerged from rogue state North Korea about its despot leader Kim Jong-un
considering a ballistic missile attack on the US territory of Guam. Speaking during a question and answer session with his social media users, Mr Scaramucci said the US leader would not want
to put civilian lives at risk but will have a “dramatic” action plan to de-escalate tensions between Washington and Pyongyang. “I think the United States has a solution there,” he said. “I
think the first solution we should be seeking is always a diplomatic solution. “I think there is a more dramatic solution there, if necessary. “I think the number one thing the President is
focused on is the mitigation of innocent civilian life. “You can’t have someone who is sabre-rattling like that and threatening places like Guam, Japan or our allies in the South Korean
peninsula.” NORTH KOREAN DEFECTOR REVEALS SHE ‘CAN’T SLEEP AT NIGHT’ Mr Scaramucci added he was “confident” in Donald Trump and his approach to the escalation of tension between his
administration and North Korea. He believes his former boss will opt for the “diplomatic solution” rather than a military approach, which could spark the beginning of World War 3. As a
founding member of Nato, the UK’s RAF could be dragged into the escalating conflict between the US and North Korea. US military chiefs have called on the RAF to aid an international
espionage operation and send British spy planes to conduct surveillance over the Korean Peninsula. The decision will require the backing from MPs before deployment of at least one of the
air force’s three Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft to a Japanese air base in the next fortnight. A source close to the situation said: “Although a conflict between North Korea and America
and their allies is unthinkable, everything that can be done is being done to prepare for that if it happens. “Western war planners are keen to minimise the death toll and that means a
massive stepping-up of intelligence gathering against North Korea.”
