The woman's husband had died the night before, however, she was told by doctors to go home as she was not yet sick enough for a bed at the hospital in Madrid. The woman is visibly


distraught and can be seen wailing outside the hospital as she morns her husband. Her children are now at extreme risk of contracting the COVID-19 coronavirus.  There are currently more than


7,000 active COVID-19 cases within Spain.  Of those over 272 are in a serious or critical condition at the time of writing. At least five Jet2 aircraft heading for Spain from the UK turned


back over the weekend as a result of travel restrictions imposed by the country.  A Jet2 spokesman said: “In response to local measures introduced throughout Spain to prevent the spread of


COVID-19 – including the closure of bars, restaurants, shops, and activities including any water sports – we have taken the decision to cancel all flights to mainland Spain, the Balearics


and Canary Islands.”  More than 77,000 people worldwide have recovered from being infected with the coronavirus.  There are currently more than 85,000 active COVID-19 cases in the world. Of


those just less than 6,000 are critical or serious cases. 157 countries at the time of writing have a confirmed case of COVID-19 coronavirus.
