BBC5 Live presenter Emma Barnett called out the Labour Shadow Transport Minister because of the many relatives of party members who work for the party. Starting off with Jeremy Corbyn's

son Sebastian, who works for the Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell, Barnett proceeded to point out other family members employed within the party. "David Prescott, son of Lord Prescott,

works in the Labour press office." "Laura Murray, daughter of Andrew Murray, Unite official and Labour general election campaign manager, also works for Jeremy Corbyn." Andy

McDonald said that their employment is not a problem as they do not "work for their relative directly." He also claimed that the people in question all gained their jobs "on

merit." "They shouldn't be precluded from entering the world of politics and making their contribution."
