There is no service between between Edgware to Morden via Bank and Charing Cross to Morden after a signal failure in the Kennington area.  The entire Northern Line service has been disrupted

by severe delays on the London underground.  A Transport for London spokesman said:"We have a signal failure at Kennington as of 08.41am which means the service is currently suspended

from Moorgate and Charing Cross to Stockwell.  "There are severe delays on the rest of the line.  "We apologise to customers for the disruption to their journeys." Passengers

have complained of being stuck in the tunnel for at least 20 minutes.  Angy Twitter users took to the social media site to express their frustrations. One said: "Spending an hour

trapped in a @northernline tube tunnel isn't an ideal start to the morning." Another said:"WOW the entire northern line has been suspended so I'm acc walking home LOL

first L of the day many more to come im sure." One tweeted:"Looks like the Northern Line is in charge of the incompetence ghosts for a while. Good news for long-time Piccadilly

Line sufferers." "Nothing says good morning like the Northern line being closed," another added.  There is currently no indication of when the tube line will be fixed or when

a normal service will resume.  Tube workers are set to stage a walk out on March 13, adding to further misery.
