The singer - who was Simon Cowell's wildcard in the competition this year - reportedly went missing before his performance on Saturday. Producers were said to be frantically searching


for Stevi, 34, as time ticked down to his performance slot, but the singer was nowhere to be found. Speaking to The Sun, an insider said: "Some of the team rushed to find him while


senior staff considered getting someone else on, which would've been a nightmare to arrange. "Just as they were about to give up, they found him getting cosy with one of the


dancers." They added: "He didn't have much luck with the ladies in his younger day, so he's trying to make up for it now he's got a bit of fame." Making it onto


stage in the nick of time, Stevi put on a great performance and sailed through to the next round of the show. Last week the aspiring singer tweeted about his "lovely" backing


dancers. He said: "Just had rehearsals at fountain studios with the lovely dancers and I didn't know where to look xx" Speaking to the Sunday People, Richie spoke about his


life before X Factor. "I was very ugly. I had fang teeth, I was chunky and very shy. Girls didn't give me a second glance." Stevi's latest antics, along with rumours of a


blossoming relationship with Chloe Jasmin, have given the singer a boost of confidence.
