Meghan Markle's extraordinary sitdown with Oprah Winfrey saw the Duchess make a series of damaging claims about her time as a senior royal. From allegations of racism to the Duchess
saying she had suicidal thoughts when five months pregnant with her son Archie Harrison, Express.co.uk has rounded up five of the biggest bombshell claims from Meghan's interview with
Oprah. FIVE BOMBSHELL CLAIMS 1.) DISCUSSIONS ABOUT 'HOW DARK' ARCHIE'S SKIN WOULD BE Meghan claimed a relative of Harry asked him "how dark" their unborn child would
be with the Duchess claiming Archie being mixed-race was a "problem" for the royals after Oprah asked her if they were worried their son was "too brown". Meghan said:
“There were also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he was born.” The Duchess claimed there were “several” conversations with Harry about the potential colour
of Archie’s skin. Asked about the conversations by Oprah, Harry said: “That’s a conversation I am never going to share. I’m not comfortable sharing that." READ MORE: KATE MIDDLETON
'MADE ME CRY' MEGHAN MARKLE CLAIMS 2.) MEGHAN 'WANTED TO DIE' Meghan said that she reached a point where she “just didn’t want to be alive anymore" when she was
five months pregnant with Archie. The Duchess said: “That was a very clear and real and frightening, constant thought.” Meghan said she went to a senior aide to “get help” after the
onslaught of media attacks but was told it would not be a “good look” for the institution. FOR CONFIDENTIAL SUPPORT IN THE UK, CALL THE SAMARITANS ON 116123 OR VISIT WWW.SAMARITANS.ORG FOR

by the Palace Meghan said she was "silenced" and felt trapped by the institution who she claims banned her from leaving for lunch. Meghan described how she felt welcomed by the
Queen and how she and Harry are still in regular contact with the royal. The Duchess said: "The Queen has always been wonderful to me... I just really loved being in her company...
She’s always been warm and inviting and really welcoming.” But despite initially being made to feel at home, the Duchess later revealed she felt trapped. Meghan said: “They were willing to
lie to protect other members of the family but they weren’t willing to tell the truth to protect me and my husband.” Asked by Oprah: “Were you silent or were you silenced?” Meghan replied:
“The latter.” 4.) KATE 'MADE MEGHAN CRY' Meghan said she never made the Duchess of Cambridge cry, but that Kate had made Meghan cry ahead of the royal wedding. The Duchess said:
“I am not sharing this to be in any way disparaging about her [Kate]. “I would hope that she would want that to be corrected.” The duchess added: “She made me cry and it really hurt my
feelings.... I thought in the context of everything else going on in the days before the wedding, didn't it make sense to do what everyone else was doing knowing what was going on with
my dad and whatnot." Meghan added that she did not want to get into details because Kate had "apologised and I [had] forgiven her". 5.) HARRY AND MEGHAN GOT MARRIED DAYS
BEFORE THE OFFICIAL ROYAL WEDDING Meghan revealed she and Harry tied the knot days before their official royal wedding. The Duchess told Oprah: "I was thinking about it, you know our
wedding—three days before our wedding, we got married. "No one knows that. We called the Archbishop and we just said, look, this thing, this spectacle is for the world. "But we
want our union between us, so the vows that we have framed in our room are just the two of us in our backyard with the Archbishop of Canterbury and that was the piece that..." Watch the
