HATE TO SAY I TOLD YOU SO ON MEGHAN MARKLE, SAYS CAROLE MALONE Meghan and Harry announced their dramatic new change of role on Wednesday. They wrote: “After many months of reflection and
internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. “We intend to step back as roles as “senior”
members of the Royal Family, and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. “We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom
and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.” The post has received over 1,700,000 Instagram ‘likes’ since it was published. However
the announcement is said to have angered other senior royals who only learned of the couple’s decision just before it took place. Buckingham Palace issued a statement shortly after the Duke
and Duchess saying much remained to be discussed. The Palace stated: “Discussions with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at an early state. “We understand their desire to take a different
approach, but these are complicated issued that will take time to work through.” Prince Harry is known to be be on friendly terms with Barack and Michelle Obama. Earlier this year Hillary
Clinton reportedly visited Meghan and Harry at their Frogmore Cottage home. In May Meghan gave birth to Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, the couples first child. Reflecting its parents heritage
the baby holds both British and American citizenship.
