Samsung has teased its ‘next big’ mobile launch with the announcement of its next annual Galaxy Unpacked. The live event takes place each year and acts as a showcase for Samsung’s latest
products, with this edition expected to give fans their first look at the new Galaxy S25 range. The event is scheduled for 6pm UK time on January 22 and can be streamed live on Samsung’s
website. Samsung confirmed the news alongside a post on X, where it encouraged users to like the post to ‘witness the next evolution of #GalaxyAI’. On its website, Samsung said: “Get ready
for AI that is more natural and intuitive. The next evolution of Galaxy AI is coming and it’s going to change the way you interact with the world every day. The new Galaxy S series is about
to set the bar once again for mobile AI experiences now and into the future.” While no further details have officially been confirmed, it’s expected Unpacked will reveal the new S25, S25+
and S25 Ultra phones. However, despite the new device’s looming release, it’s worth taking a look at the deals in Samsung’s January sale, with its current S24 offerings too good to ignore.
Until January 16, shoppers opting for a Galaxy S24, S24+ or S24 Ultra can claim a free Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go laptop. There’s also £100 off the S24 Ultra, with the 256GB model reduced
to £1,149, down from £1,249. The Ultra is Samsung’s most premium and powerful smartphone, boasting a 200MP wide-angle camera, 6.8” Quad HD+ display and S Pen. Buyers can bag themselves a
free Samsung laptop by visiting the Samsung new year offers page within 30 days of purchase. There’s also £75 off the Galaxy S24, with the 128GB model currently available for £724 – down
from £799 – while also included in the free laptop deal. The S24 features a 50MP wide-angle camera and 6.2” FHD+ display, while the S24+ 50MP wide-angle camera, while the S24+ has a slightly
larger 6.7” Quad HD+ display. For those who prefer to spread the cost of a new smartphone, Sky Mobile offers the Galaxy S24 for £25, with prices rising to £40 for the S24 Ultra. This also
comes with the opportunity to claim a free Galaxy Chromebook, but it’s worth noting the phone plan is on a 36-month contract.
