Research found we become furious around 20 times a month - with causes that vary from rude shop staff to smokers to Kim Kardashian. We also vent our rage at modern problems such as poor

wifi, spam emails and ‘friends’’ Facebook posts which seemingly portray a ‘perfect’ lifestyle. But we are still annoyed by the more traditional irritants such as traffic wardens. And the

most annoying of them all, remains the age old problem of queue jumping, taking top spot in a list of what makes Britons lose their cool. Bad parking, paying tax and flat tyres also make it

onto the list, along with sitting on chewing gum, too many adverts during TV commercial breaks and tedious airport delays. Kitchen gadget firm Redring, who conducted the research by

interviewing 1,000 adults, found six in ten (62 per cent) of us get angry on a regular basis. And the reasons may be something simple, such as a traffic jam, to trying to cope with the

stresses and strains of modern life when reality TV stars like the Kardashians are seen swanning around in luxury. Around 10 per cent described themselves as ‘very stressed’ and a further 41

per cent as ‘somewhat stressed’. Nearly half - 46 per cent - have found themselves screaming out loud at something that has made them angry, the survey added. The average Brit will have

four arguments a month, mainly with their other halves who are often the outlet for anger. Redring spokeswoman, Julie McLean, said: “Everyone can relate to this list. Even the calmest of

people lose their temper every now and then.” “Impatience is a trigger for stress. In this day and age we are used to getting things instantly, so waiting for technology to load or being sat

in traffic can cause us to reach boiling point.” Nearly nine in ten of those interviewed - some 86 per cent - feel Britain is becoming a more intolerant nation. AMAZON ECHO UPDATE OFFERS
