Recruitment for the 24th Aldi Wine Club is now open, which means you are in for a chance of joining the club. The Aldi Wine Club is an appointed panel of wine reviewers, and all they have to


do is review Aldi’s wine! Have you been to a few wine tastings and think you know a thing or two about grapes? Here’s how to sign up. WHAT IS ALDI WINE CLUB? The site says: “Every three


months we will select 30 burgeoning wine experts to join us on a tasting journey of Aldi’s delicious wines. “Being part of the panel means that you’ll be the first to hear about our


award-winning wines, and we’ll send you three delicious bottles from our range to try over a six week period. “All we ask is that you taste and review the wines in a tweet using the


dedicated #AldiWineClub hashtag. “Along with the wines, to help you with your monthly reviews we’ll also send you a selection of tasting notes to guide you on everything from the aroma and

date will not be considered. HOW ARE ALDI WINE CLUB MEMBERS CHOSEN? There are up to thirty places to be won in the competition, and not all of these places will be filled if the bosses


don’t receive enough suitable entries. The site says: “The ALDI Wine Club is an appointed panel of wine reviewers who will provide reviews of ALDI’s wine through their Twitter accounts. “The


winners are referred to in these Terms as “ALDIWine Club Members”. “After the closing date, each of the ALDIWine Club Members shall be selected by a panel of judges appointed by ALDI (on


the basis of their view of the entrants’ suitability to act as a member of the ALDIWine Club. “The panel will be comprised of two representatives from ALDI and an independent freelance wine


consultant. “The judges may be advised by ALDI’s Public Relations and Marketing agencies but such agencies will not decide the ALDIWine Club Members. “The initial ALDIWine Club Members will

to contact the chosen member by e-mail within 14 days of the date on which the Competition ends. If you haven’t heard by May 19, 2020, you may be out of luck. If you are successful, your


membership will depend on you providing the following information: * satisfactory proof of age * confirming their acceptance of the terms and conditions * confirming the address to which the


wine to be reviewed will be sent. If you don’t do this, your place may be offered to a runner-up. The same will happen if you cannot reasonably be contacted within a week of their first


attempt.
