The new game is already looking terrific, and senior producer Yoshinori Ono has previously revealed that fans will be able to influence Capcom's plans for future updates.
An expansion to the Story Mode is also set to drop in June, and Ono admits that he is delighted to see his latest work come to fruition – adding that he still hopes to create future Street
Fighter games from some rather exotic locations.
Ono told Express Gaming: "My ideal version of my future is where my job lets me kick back with a cocktail in Santorini or Hawaii, but until I release that dream it's great that I've been
able to help Capcom bring Street Fighter 5 to the level of being called an eSport and the global phenomenon that it is – it's not just a game anymore.

"I want to follow through on that and of course Street Fighter 4 has had a seven or eight year lifespan; I'd like to see Street Fighter 5 run just as long if not longer.
"Over the course of those years the game is going to run, we plan to follow through not just with the experience on your console and on your TV and online, but bringing analogue and offline
experiences to players.
"We've run the Capcom prota for a few years now, and it's going to keep running with Street Fighter 5 to bring that live atmosphere, almost like a spectator sport, to players around the
world – bringing them closer to each other and us.
"If we can keep that going for a few more years and I can be helping to make that happen, that's one of my dreams come true.
"The more I can do that, the closer and closer I get to my dream of finally working from an exotic location with a multi-coloured cocktail.
"[On that note] I would like it if Capcom opened an office in Santorini, and if I could be the President of that office, that would be great!"
