Star wars 8 last jedi leak? Benicio del toro’s character 'revealed'

name is Gannis Ducain, who was revealed in the 2015 movie to be a former owner of the Millennium Falcon. If true, Gannis’ character arc will fit in with previous rumours suggesting General

Leia (Carrie Fisher) is captured by the First Order and left at the hands of son Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis). Finn (John Boyega), Rose (Kelly Marie Tran)

and BB-8 are allegedly tasked with saving her, but need a mole to help them - enter Gannis, according to a mystery Redditor. A Redditor, who insisted on keeping his/her sources anonymous (so

take all of this with a pinch of salt), wrote: “Gannis dismisses his guards and immediately tells Finn he’s the mole and the coordinates to Snoke’s location, and tells the trio he’s

reported them as Resistance spies and to run now.  “Finn has the idea to steal an animal from one of the circus attractions and they ride it down to the sea, where they steal a boat to get

back to their shuttle while being pursued by [security].” If true, this seems to indicate that Gannis is, in fact, on the side of the Resistance. It was previously claimed that Del Toro’s

character was being code-named “DJ” by LucasFilm insiders, so it’s unclear if the two theories align. But sources at MakingStarWars had reported: "He wears all black. He has a trench
