Piers Morgan has made a savage dig towards Gary Lineker after the former footballer made critical comments about the England team. The TalkTV presenter, 59, and Match of the Day host, 63,
have been embroiled in a heated social media feud for years, and Piers didn't hold back during their recent online spat. Following England's 1-1 draw against Denmark in their
second Euro 2024 group game, Gary described the team's performance as "s**t" on the Rest is Football podcast, adding that Harry Kane "needs to do a lot better". The
broadcaster is set to record another episode of the podcast today (June 26) and turned to his X followers for help. He wrote: "Looking for some questions for @MicahRichards @alanshearer
and yours truly for a @RestIsFootball] episode we’re recording this afternoon please. Just reply to this post with your question. Cheers." Piers took the opportunity to reply to the
post with a question of his own, writing: "Q. Following your description of England’s performance in Euros as ‘sh*t’, do you know of any England players, past or present, who have
personal experience of evacuation of excrement during games?" The broadcaster was referring to the unfortunate incident Gary suffered in the middle of a World Cup match against Ireland
in 1990. The serious bowel problem meant he had to be substituted off for Steve Bull. During a chat with Micah Richards and Alan Shearer on the Match of the Day podcast, the former player
recalled the moment he soiled himself. "I hadn't been feeling well the night before.... But I didn't tell anyone because I wanted to play. About 15 minutes into the second
half I start to cramp and I think 'Oh, God, I've got a pain here,'" he explained. The dad-of-four continued: "The ball comes out on his left side and I slid for it,
and as I was doing that I relaxed a little bit...and boof. 'Oh, my God,' I said to myself. And I'm sitting on the ground and it's all there. "You can see me look up
and Gary Stevens comes over and I remember him saying to me, 'Links, what's wrong?' and I said, 'I've shat myself'. I felt like crying." He added:
"Thank God we had the dark blue shorts and not the white shorts."
