Jeremy Clarkson risked reigniting his infamous feud with Piers Morgan while discussing the “brouhaha” surrounding Netflix’s Baby Reindeer and Piers’s interview with the woman claiming to be

the inspiration behind Martha. Not missing an opportunity to make a dig at the Uncensored host, the Clarkson’s Farm star, 64, wrote for The Sun: “Despite his hideous and unloved face, I

watched Piers Morgan interview the lady who’s been outed as the real-life stalker in this supposedly true story. “And then I watched the stalkee, Richard Gadd put his side of the story in a

month-old interview on This Morning. One of them is telling the truth. And one of them is therefore lying. “And I’m buggered if I can work out which way round it goes. I’d be a terrible

judge.” The 59-year-old's interview with Scottish lawyer Fiona Harvey aired earlier this month. She repeatedly denied stalking Baby Reindeer creator Richard Gadd, describing the show as

“a work of fiction" and "hyperbole”. Fiona also said she plans to sue the actor as well as Netflix over the “defamatory” contents of the dramatised series. After the show was

released, viewers began to speculate over the real people who inspired the events. Fiona claims she has received death threats from “internet sleuths” and was "forced" into telling

her side of the story. Last month, Richard Gadd shared a message on his Instagram Story urging fans to stop speculating. He wrote: "Hi everyone, people I love, have worked with, and

admire... are unfairly getting caught up in speculation. Please don't speculate on who any of the real life people could be. That's not the point of our show." Elsewhere in

his column, Jeremy poked fun at beating Piers to the title of UK’s Sexiest Man for the second year running. The Top Gear star also beat the likes of Idris Elba, Tom Holland and Cillian

Murphy in a survey of 2,000 dating site members. Piers placed 40th on the list, plummeting from 17th last year. Sharing his disbelief at the results, Piers fumed on Instagram: “WTF?!!!!

[angry emoji].” The decades-long feud between Piers and Jeremy dates back to the early 2000s when the then-newspaper editor published photographs of Clarkson with a woman who wasn’t his

wife. Then, at the 2004 Press Awards, Jeremy punched Piers in the head, leaving him with a scar. The pair eventually buried the hatchet and were able to joke about the altercation during a

celebrity edition of ITV’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? In the 2020 episode, Piers joked to host Jeremy: “I can think of a million reasons why I shouldn't trust you. Including this

scar on my forehead.”
