Eamonn Holmes took to Twitter today amid his return to This Morning with wife Ruth Langsford. The married couple are back on the ITV programme during half term, two months after presenting
their last Friday show.

“Half way through This Morning Half Term. Hope u r enjoying it,”(sic) he wrote in view of his one million followers.
“@RuthieeL and I would like to thank you for such a warm welcome back and maybe you'll join us from 10 for the rest of the week?” he added.

Many took to the comments section of his post to share their thoughts.
“Omg yessss Eammsey and Ruthie, seeing you both back on my Telly Box is like coming out of lockdown... Normality,”(sic) one follower wrote online.
“So wonderful to have you and Ruth back - just like meeting up with old friends again... well, not old, but you know what I mean,” another added sharing a similar sentiment.

A fourth fan revealed that they only watch the programme when Ruth and Eamonn are on.
“This week is the first time I have watched @thismorning since you & Ruth were last on the show in December.
“Following the change in presenters, I only watch when you guys are on,” the post read.

“I always used to put it on but decided I would look at other channels and have found other programs I enjoy. As you two are back I will be watching.”
Ruth and Eamonn are hosting the show all this week as it’s February half term for school children.
The duo are due to return to This Morning for the Easter holidays, when regular presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby take a break.

At the weekend, Ruth, 60, revealed that she’d had the Covid vaccination.
The mum-of-one told fans that she was “so grateful” to get the jab and thanked everyone involved.
“JUST HAD MY VACCINE!!” she wrote on Instagram, in view of her 990,000 followers, before adding, “Feel SO grateful.”
Ruth went on to say: “Thought it was a scam message at first as I wasn’t expecting to be called until March!
“Thank you everybody, staff & volunteers, at the vaccination centre in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey...a quick, well organised and very friendly experience. The jab took seconds and was
painless.”
