dominated his category in Bright, Victoria, clocking 1:20:22.8 to finish 2:17.8 ahead of Tasman Nankervis with Chris Hamilton third.

”Clearly a very happy moment,” said Bowden whose two under-23 titles show how much competing at the elite level in the national series has helped his riding.

Launceston’s Ewan Ferrier came 11th in the junior men, 6:20 behind the winner.
