WHO CONTROLS THE SPEND OF FUNDS AT AN AREA LEVEL? The detail on this is still to be clarified at the Area management level, however the principle has been agreed that monies bought into the
Area accounts for Officiating will be ringfenced for purpose of being spent to support the delivery of the objectives of the Area Officiating Committee. This also includes any funds that may
come into the Area from existing Umpiring Associations that decide to move existing funds into the new Areas. This part, however, is for each individual existing association to decide upon
with their members through their existing constitutions. As the Area Officiating Committee would be part of the Area, they would also have a delegated amount of responsibility so direct
reporting / requesting of spend to the Area Management Committee would be set out at certain levels of spend.
