Old georgians and wimbledon men aim for progress in europe this weekend

This weekend two men’s teams are representing England in the Euro Hockey League at HTHC Harvestehuder, Germany.  Old Georgians and Wimbledon finished champions and runners up in the Men’s


EHL Premier Division 2021-22 so earned their place at this weekend’s event. They are playing this weekend in the KO16 round with the aim of qualifying for the Finals, which take place at


Easter 2023.   Wimbledon will kick off the round by playing Hamburger Polo Club on Thursday 29 September, at 19:00 local time. A win will see them play against the winners of Montrouge v


Lisnagarvey in the next round, a loss in a consolation game the following day.  Old Georgians will then play on Saturday 1 October against SV Arminen from Austria at 10:30 and like Wimbledon


the result will determine their Sunday game. They will be hoping to play the winners of Pinoke v Slavia Prague for a place at the Easter event.   With regards the women’s competition,


Vitality Women’s Hockey League champions Surbiton will again play in the Finals weekend at Easter and the runners-up, Hampstead & Westminster make their first foray into Europe in the


Trophy tournament.  Surbiton’s men performed brilliantly in last year’s Finals coming third overall.  STREAMING  All games are going to be streamed on the European Hockey Federation’s
