WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE THERE FOR VOLUNTEERS? There are always opportunities for people to volunteer within the sport. Almost any hockey club local to you would welcome your assistance and
there are a number of roles in any club ranging from administrative through to organising social activity and fundraising, and then also coaching and umpiring. However, if you want to get
involved in more formally organised activity as an Event Volunteer, then you should sign up as a Hockey Maker - details of which are available on this site here. Hockey Makers get the chance
to be involved in supporting the delivery of a whole range of events delivered across the country and on varying scales, so there are many opportunities to suit different time commitments
and experience levels.
