CAN TEAM SHEETS BE USED TO REPORT PERFORMANCE AT ALL LEVELS? Yes, this will be done through the England Hockey Game Management System (GMS), being launched in August 2021. This is
intrinsically linked to the existing Officiating Management System (OMS) where the reporting functions already exist. Though initially this option will be only be available for Neutrally
Appointed Umpires (and not club appointed ones) as that is how the technology currently works. There will be aims to develop this in the future when time allows. The move to the GMS will
eventually allow team sheets and feedback on officials to happen at all levels of the game and provide Officials and the Area Officiating Committees an overview on how individual Officials
is performing and to help shape delivery of local development days / opportunities. When an Official undertakes an appointment for an Area, the respective Area Officiating Committee is
responsible for remunerating that Official directly and in line with the agreed remuneration rates.
