A utility is partnering with a renewable energy developer to build large amounts of solar and energy storage capacity in the southern U.S., capitalizing on strong demand for carbon-free
power. Entergy and NextEra Energy Resources said their expanded collaboration will speed up the pace of electricity projects in Entergy’s service area, which includes parts of Louisiana,
Texas, Mississippi and Arkansas. “We believe the power sector is at an inflection point, and growing electricity demand will be met by low-cost, renewable generation and storage,” said
