minister Chhagan Bhujbal’s comment that he was a follower of NCP chief Sharad Pawar, deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar said, “It is NCP’s internal matter. I would not comment on this issue.”
Addressing the Samata Melawa organised by the Mahatma Phule Samata Parishad (MPSP) on Sunday, Bhujbal said his leader is Sharad Pawar. Earlier, Ajit Pawar had made it clear that his name as
the leader of the legislature party leader for the NCP was proposed by none other than Chhagan Bhujbal. Replying to a question whether it was Bhujbal’s reaction to Ajit Pawar’s potshot at
Bhujbal in a programme in the city on Saturday, Pawar said he did not want to comment. He said, “I would not discuss the issue time and again when the national president of the party had
made party’s stand clear to people of Maharashtra.”
