(BJYM) national president Anurag Thakur Thursday alleged that "wide differences" exist between the UPA government and Congress party on a number of policy issues.


"Congress-led UPA government and Congress are not on the same page. There are wide differences between the government and the party on vital policy issues," Thakur said. While AICC


General Secretary Rahul Gandhi was saying something on Lokpal, the government was saying something else on the issue, the BJP MP said. It is the "indecisiveness" of the UPA


government and stand of its allies on several issues that is stalling the functioning of both the Houses of Parliament, he said, adding that "we (BJP) are giving full co-operation for


running Parliament." He also rubbished Congress president Sonia Gandhi's remark that BJP-led NDA was out to derail UPA government's legislative agenda as it has never accepted


the verdict of 2004 and 2009 Lok Sabha elections. Thakur asserted that the Opposition will have to struggle hard for a strong Lokpal and independence of the CBI.
