Friday. Hashim Sofi, a research fellow at the Department of Pharmaceutics in BITS, woke up to the threat messages inscribed on the door of his room at Malviya Bhavan hostel on Friday. What


accentuated the crisis were the threat and hate messages written on the clothes he had left for drying. “As I woke up early morning last day, I couldn’t believe my eyes for what was written


on the face of my door at Malviya Bhavan Hostel of BITS Pilani. To add to the surprise, I later on found my clothes have also been pasted with some heartbreaking quotes. I wonder why such


animosity for the Kashmiris (sic),” Sofi wrote in a Facebook post. Seemingly upset by the incident, the BITS authorities have ordered an investigation into the matter.
