Hollywood star Mel Gibson is all set to present an award at the upcoming Golden Globes. Gibson, who withdrew from the spotlight after his infamous drunken, antisemitic tirade against a

police officer in 2006 and ugly custody battle with an ex-girlfriend, will share the stage with ceremony's host, Ricky Gervais, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced.

Gervais, who last shared Globe stage with Gibson in 2010, welcomed the announcement. "Mel Gibson is presenting an award at the Golden Globes. Thank you Jesus," the host tweeted.
