wall, full desk’ and ‘chairwall.’ driven by simultaneous interests in architecture and furniture, ramsey integrates walls into his designs, reframing the static, traditionally unobserved
forms. molding is extended around the tabletop of ‘half wall, full desk’ and the base of ‘chairwall,’ making the table and chair of each piece appear as extensions of the adjacent upright
surfaces. the beginning of a six-piece body of work, the two pieces provoke consideration of how space and its surrounding structures affect user interactions with furniture. ‘half wall,
