Fox is developing a drama series about the richest man in the world having to flee his private island after a global financial collapse. _Billionaire Apocalypse _(w/t) comes from _The
Morning Show_ creator Jay Carson, who will write, and exec producers including Hugh Jackman, _Pulp Fiction _producer Lawrence Bender and Kevin Brown, exec producer of Starz’ _Flesh and
Bone._ The network is unveiling the project at Mipcom, where it is hunting for international partners. Fox Entertainment Studios is producing and it will be distributed internationally by
Fox Entertainment Global. The series follows the richest man on the planet, 200 of his employees, and his family as they are forced to flee to his private island in the wake of a global
financial collapse, where the employees and family members — who he’s treated as afterthoughts for decades — quickly realize he’s no longer rich and thus no longer in charge. WATCH ON
DEADLINE There’s no cast set so don’t take Jackman’s involvement as a sign he’s fronting this. Carson is the former Clinton aide (and recent RFK Jr. whisperer) who was a supervising
producer on Netflix’s _House of Cards_ before he created Apple’s_ The Morning Show_. Bender has produced films including _Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Bastards _and_ Good Will Hunting_ and TV
shows such as The CW’s _Roswell, New Mexico_ and Netflix’s _Seven Seconds_. He was also an EP on _Flesh and Bone_, as was Brown, who has also worked on _Seven Seconds,_ HBO’s _Soul of the
Game _and the _Trumbo_ film. Jackman is obviously coming off the back of _Deadpool & Wolverine. _
