Emmerdale cast film 'traumatic' funeral scenes as death news hits village Robert made a dramatic entrance at his ex-husband Aaron Dingle's (Danny Miller) wedding to his

half-brother John (Oliver Farnworth) - who's been keeping his murderous streak under wraps from the locals, reports Leicestershire Live. Soap viewers will know that John was responsible

for Nate Robinson's (Jurell Carter) death last year, as well as spiking Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and framing Ella Forster (Paula Lane). In the explosive wedding scene, the registrar

announced: "If any person here present knows of any lawful impediment to this marriage, they should declare it now." Just as John and Aaron were about to exchange their vows,

Robert burst into the room, saying: "Hello Aaron, missed me?" before the credits began rolling. Following his shock return, actor Ryan appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Thursday

morning (May 29) to discuss his character's future in the village. "I got a call from Danny being like, 'How do you feel about coming back?' He'd asked me a few

times and Emmerdale asked me a few times, but it was never the right time," he told Lorraine Kelly. "This time, everything just aligned and the story was great, as you saw last

night, the entrance. I was just like, 'Perfect'." Discussing how long he'll stick around in the Dales, Ryan revealed: "It's indefinite. Robert is back in the

village, he's coming back to try and win Aaron back. He's gonna put a stop to John. Well, is he? He's gonna try." He added: "It's such a good year going

forward. I know, kind of towards the end of the year I've been told. I'm honestly so excited where the show's going, it just feels like a great time to be involved."

Lorraine then chimed in: "Well, you have to expose John, the baddie," leading Ryan to tease: "Yeah, well we hope that's gonna happen, but will it? "I can't

really give anything away in that sense. There's a lot of obstacles that Robert has to overcome before that's gonna happen." Article continues below EMMERDALE AIRS WEEKNIGHTS
