HITMAN DEVELOPER IO INTERACTIVE WILL HOLD ITS FIRST-EVER SHOWCASE THIS WEEK, GIVING US OUR FIRST LOOK AT THE STUDIO'S UPCOMING JAMES BOND TITLE WHICH IS KNOWN AS 007 FIRST LIGHT 11:22,
03 Jun 2025Updated 11:23, 03 Jun 2025 One of the most mysterious games of the last few years has been IO Interactive's upcoming James Bond game. It makes sense why the studio would go
from the excellent Hitman: World of Assassination to a title based on Ian Fleming's iconic secret agent, but now we know much more about the project and are just days away from a
reveal. The studio has announced it will hold its own showcase event this week, with MindsEye from former GTA developer Leslie Benzies set to be included, as well as Hitman World of
Assassination which launches on Switch 2 this week. Still, it's fair to say most will be tuning in for the Bond game, and we now have some fresh information. 007 FIRST LIGHT TO GET
REVEAL THIS WEEK On June 6, the studio will hold the IOI Showcase at Summer Game Fest, as well as a stream that viewers worldwide can tune in for. Article continues below "Developed by
IO Interactive, 007 First Light is the title of its highly anticipated standalone original James Bond video game, set to be revealed this week," the studio said, promising
"additional surprises and special guests throughout the show". The studio has previously promised an original Bond story, without the use of existing actors in the series, and has
suggested it could be the first entry in a new trilogy. The game was originally revealed as Project 007 in November 2020, but it seems we'll finally get a proper look. Here's
hoping for gameplay, as IO suggests there will be "never-before-seen footage" from the game shown. Elsewhere, MindsEye launches in just a week, meaning this will be the last big
promotional beat for the title, while IO is set to reveal big things for Hitman. "With the Hitman franchise set to celebrate its 25th Anniversary this year, announcements regarding
upcoming content for Hitman World of Assassination and collaborations around the Hitman franchise will be shared." Article continues below If the studio announces any kind of remasters
of the older games in the series, you'll be able to hear me from space, but we'll also take some references being added to World of Assassination. _FOR THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS AND
