MAN UTD WINGER ALEJANDRO GARNACHO APPEARS TO HAVE TAKEN ANOTHER SWIPE AT THE CLUB AFTER CLASHING WITH MANAGER RUBEN AMORIM AS HE SEEMINGLY MOVES CLOSER TO THE EXIT DOOR AT OLD TRAFFORD
21:26, 31 May 2025Updated 21:32, 31 May 2025 Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho appears to have taken another swipe at the club in another ill-advised social media post. Upon
returning from the Red Devils' controversial post-season tour of Asia, Garnacho has caused potentially further tension with his bosses. United played ASEAN All-Stars and the Hong Kong
national team just days after their awful season drew to a close. Despite reportedly being told by Ruben Amorim to find a new club in the summer, Garnacho took part in both friendly matches.
The 20-year-old previously criticised his manager's selection for the Europa League final loss to Tottenham, and his recent social media activity may bring more backlash. The squad
landed back in Manchester on Saturday, marking the start of their summer break. Eager to distance himself from football and the club, Garnacho expressed relief at the conclusion of the
ill-fated tour. In an Instagram story, he shared a photo of the United plane touching down, captioning it: "Finally." His post was accompanied by three emojis: a crying face,
prayer hands and a beach. Article continues below His apparent delight at the end of United's disastrous tour and season comes as talks about a potential summer departure are set to
intensify in the coming days and weeks. The rift between Garnacho and Amorim boiled over after the winger was limited to just 20 minutes in the Europa League final, leading him to slam the
campaign as "A s*** season." Garnacho's brother soon poured petrol on the flames by accusing Amorim of scapegoating the player on Instagram, claiming Garnacho had been
"thrown under the bus" following the final defeat. Despite the controversy, Garnacho was omitted from the squad for United's last Premier League match against Aston Villa,
though he did join the team for their post-season tour in Asia, where he played in both fixtures. Article continues below Meanwhile, another United player, Amad Diallo, found himself in
trouble during the Asian tour after he was spotted giving the middle finger to a fan outside the team hotel in Malaysia. Amad escaped any internal punishment and defended his actions on X,
stating, "I have respect for people but not for the one who insults my mom..." He added, "I shouldn't have reacted like that but I don't regret what I did. We had a
great time in Malaysia with good people."
