2025 Arsenal star Bukayo Saka refused to speak to Sky Sports in an awkward interaction before the Spanish Grand Prix. Thomas Tuchel has taken his England squad to the Circuit de

Barcelona-Catalunya for Sunday’s race before they take on Andorra next Saturday in a World Cup qualifier a short distance away at Espanyol’s RCDE Stadium. The customary grid walk took place

before the national anthems were played in the build-up to the race. But with no Martin Brundle on hand, Simon Lazenby and 2016 F1 world champion Nico Rosberg conducted the interviews. The

duo first spoke to Harry Kane, where Rosberg thanked the former Tottenham striker for his Bundesliga success with Bayern Munich this season as he revealed to be a supporter of the Bavarian

giants. Lazenby then moved on and wanted to grab a quick word with Saka, but the Gunners winger immediately refused as he turned away and held his hand up to the Sky presenter as he

attempted to speak to him. Article continues below Saka continued to snub the interview despite Lazenby making two more attempts to speak to the 23-year-old, with him even simply refusing to

answer who he thought would win the race just seconds after Kane had put his support behind the British trio of Lando Norris, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, who all start in the top

five. Lazenby was forced to awkwardly turn around and went to speak to Newcastle defender Dan Burn instead, who was all too happy to be interviewed. Article continues below There have been

previous cases of guests refusing to speak on the grid before, with Brundle involved in some awkward and difficult interactions with a number of high-profile celebrities, who have often been

on the receiving end of a quip back from the pundit.
