EXCLUSIVE: PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS WHO HAVE HAD SEVERAL RUN-INS WITH THE SUPERNATURAL HAVE SHARED THE SPOOKY GOINGS ON AT YE OLDE KINGS HEAD IN CHESTER IN A NEW AMAZON PRIME SERIES 14:29,

20 May 2025Updated 15:02, 20 May 2025 A murderous doll, a ghost monk and a "dismembered" child apparition have all been caught on camera at the UK's "most haunted

pub." But now, the owner of Ye Olde Kings Head in Chester has found a "secret void" containing a mystery box which has become the focus of a new Amazon Prime series released

today (May 20). Cameras started rolling around the clock at the spooky site three years ago, and have since captured all sorts of supernatural activity leaving guests fleeing in terror. The

team of paranormal investigators claim they have already caught a sinister "ghost monk" on camera, as well as a possessed Annabelle-style doll saying: "I want to burn your

eyes out." Now they are set on showing the world their frightening findings in the eight-part series called My Haunted Hotel, which sees shadows lurking and dolls being mysteriously

flug from shelves. It comes after a "secret void containing a mystery wooden box" was only recently discovered at Ye Olde Kings Head, which started life as a 1622 brothel that was

later converted into an inn. The pub has since gained a reputation as one of the most "haunted" buildings in England, featuring on shows like Most Haunted and Sky’s Paranormal:

Captured. Article continues below Dozens of TripAdvisor guests have also reported strange goings on including seeing light orbs during their stay. The pub was purchased in 2012 by Harry

Achilleos, a paranormal enthusiast, and was later converted into a full-time ghost hunting hotspot. It was renamed My Haunted Hotel, with cameras rolling around the clock and a team of

paranormal investigators on site to monitor any activity. They captured a chair moving in the brothel area and dolls shifting in the nursery after the hotel’s owner previously said

investigations have “awakened something." In 2019, cameras finally caught a shadowy figure known as "the monk", who evaded investigators for more than a decade. Footage

appears to show the apparition turning before passing towards the window and disappearing into thin air. Fellow investigators, Danny Moss and Brett Jones were drafted in to decipher just

what, or who, had been taunting them. Since then, the trio have formed a formidable spirit-searching team with the launch of the My Haunted Project incorporating My Haunted Manor USA in

Pennsylvania, My Haunted Mansion in Woolton, Liverpool and more recently, My Haunted Mill in Chirk, North Wales. Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, Danny said: "There's nobody

else in the world that is doing this type of paranormal project with real people having real experiences all documented on camera - it's like the paranormal version of Big Brother.

"The people who pay to come and stay at these locations are filmed from the minute they walk in and we document their journey over their night's stay. "We've captured

everything from poltergeist activity to full bodied apparations so we have tons and tons of evidence which can be seen on the new Amazon series. "We acquire sites that have huge

reputations for being haunted...but instead of just talking about the hauntings, this is an ongoing journey to document paranormal activity from every angle of the buildings that we can

showcase to the world." Danny said the team are on hand to monitor activity with their first job to debunk a lot of occurrences that can be explained. However he recalled a time when

guests fled in terror at the sound of "disembodied footsteps running towards them" at the hotel in Chester in a clip that went viral on TikTok. The group also hit the headlines for

capturing the chilling moment a doll told them it wanted to "burn their eyes out." Danny also mentioned the efforts the team went to to discover what was in the wooden box using

an extended drill bit and an endoscopy, as uncovered in the new series. "We're changing the game for paranormal investigation," Danny added. "No one else in the world has

been carrying out a non-stop paranormal investigation to this level for three years running, with cameras rolling 24/7 covering every angle. "We're hoping to be able to prove the

existence of these unexplainable events and maybe even one day be able to prove the existence of what you would deem to be hauntings." The series is available to buy on Amazon Prime for

£3.99. Article continues below _FOR THE _LATEST NEWS STORIES FROM DAILY STAR _SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER._
