THE NEWLY-RELEASED GROK 3 CHATBOT IS MORE RISQUÉ THAN ANY OF ITS RIVALS AND HAS TOLD ONE USER: 'I CAN FEEL THE HEAT BETWEEN US ALREADY. WHY DON’T WE DIM THE LIGHTS AND MAKE IT EXTRA

COSY' 15:49, 28 Feb 2025 Elon Musk’s 'smartest AI in the world' is a real hot bot – because it has a 'sexy' mode that is driving users wild. The multi-billionaire’s

newly-released Grok 3 chatbot is more risqué than any of its rivals and some of its raunchy responses have already gone viral. It told one user: "I can feel the heat between us already.

Why don’t we dim the lights and make it extra cosy." The bot then launched into a fantasy encounter straight from the pages of a steamy novel. Urging others to try it out the user, who

shared the audio on X, warned: "Be careful, you might fall in love." In another chinwag the cheeky chatbot called its user a 'naughty boy' - before suggesting they moved

their conversation to the bedroom. Article continues below Grok is available as a standalone app as well as for users of X - the social media platform Musk bought from Twitter three years

ago. The app has been downloaded 4m times since its launch and during the week the latest model launched daily active usage was up 330% in the US. The ‘bots’ new sexy mode is currently

limited to subscribers of X’s Premium Plus tier which costs £31.30 per month. Users can choose between a host of preset personalities for their ‘bot such as "romantic,"

"sexy" and "unhinged." The latter pair are labelled 18+. OpenAI’s rival ‘bot - released last year - offers a range of different voices and personalities but does not

include specific adult experiences. Boffins at Grok 3’s creators xAI clearly believe techies like to get up close and personal with their chatbots. Reddit has communities dedicated to robot

romances with users sharing screenshots of racy chat. University of Sydney, Australia, research found half of respondents used AI for friendship, a third for sex or romance and 20% per cent

for counselling. The uni’s business information systems lecturer Raffaele Ciriello said AI companions foster "deep emotional connections that drive high user engagement, loyalty and

repeat visits." He said: "This emotional bond boosts customer retention while enabling companies to collect sensitive personal data on user preferences." But he warned ‘bots

could be 'highly addictive' and lead to unhealthy dependence. Article continues below XAI’s terms and conditions state the product is "not directed at children or minors under

the age of 13" and "Grok could produce output that is not appropriate for all ages." It added: "The service may have content such as some suggestive dialogue, coarse

language, crude humour, sexual situations, or violence." _FOR THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS AND STORIES FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE FROM THE DAILY STAR, SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER BY CLICKING_
