WARNING, GRAPHIC CONTENT: THE TWO MEN SHOT DEAD OUTSIDE AN IRISH BAR IN A POPULAR TOURIST RESORT ARE REPORTEDLY TOP MEMBERS OF THE INFAMOUS LYONS CRIME CLAN 14:12, 01 Jun 2025Updated 14:59,

01 Jun 2025 Two Scots who were brutally shot down outside an Irish pub in a savage gangland execution have been identified as leading figures of the Lyons crime family. Underworld insiders

have named Ross Monaghan and Eddie Lyons Jnr as the victims of the terrifying shooting in Malaga shortly after the Champions League final. The Glasgow criminals were mercilessly gunned down

outside Monaghan's pub in Fuengirola on the Costa Del Sol, as shocked ex-pats and holidaymakers watched in horror on Saturday night (May 31). A masked shooter reportedly leapt from a

vehicle and fired shots at the bar entrance, killing Monaghan and Lyons Jnr. The Record understands that the shootings are connected to Scotland's ongoing gangland feud, reports the

Daily Record. Ross Monaghan is listed as the owner of Monaghan's pub, which overlooks the beachfront in the popular holiday destination. Patrons were enjoying a drink after watching the

Champions League final on the bar's big screens. Reports suggest a masked gunman exited a car that abruptly stopped outside the bar before escaping the scene in the same vehicle,

driven by an accomplice. Article continues below Spanish authorities report that the first victim was shot in the chest and the second in the chest and abdomen. The government's

sub-delegate in Malaga, Javier Salas, also confirmed that the two victims were Scottish. Distressing images from the scene depict a man lying motionless on his back in shorts and a T-shirt

next to a drinks and meal blackboard on an outdoor terrace at the Irish pub. In a series of chilling images, police and paramedics are seen attending to one of the victims, believed to be

the same man, who is covered with a blanket as stunned locals and tourists watch on. No arrests have been reported yet, but police swiftly established roadblocks in the vicinity following

the shooting in an attempt to apprehend those involved. Earlier, it was revealed that the bar is owned by Monaghan, who scarpered to the Costa Del Sol in 2017 after surviving a gun attack

outside a Glasgow primary school. Monaghan is identified as the owner of the bar in an online business directory. He was previously acquitted of the murder of infamous Glasgow gangster Kevin

'Gerbil' Carroll, who was brutally gunned down in a gangland execution in Asda Robroyston carpark in 2010. Monaghan stood trial for the murder but was cleared of all charges in

May 2012. He was also found not guilty of attempting to obstruct justice by disposing of the two firearms used in the shooting and setting the getaway vehicle ablaze. In August 2017, both

Monaghan and Eddie Lyons Jnr were acquitted of involvement in a savage street assault on three men outside the Campsie bar in Bishopbriggs. The brutal onslaught left one victim's ear

hanging off. However, the case fell apart when prosecutors dropped the charges against them after just two days of evidence. These shocking murders occur amidst a violent gang feud that has

been escalating in Scotland since March. The feud initially ignited following a disagreement between rival gangsters after a £500k cache of cocaine was allegedly nicked from Dubai-based

kingpin, Ross McGill. The narcotics were reportedly swiped by imprisoned Edinburgh crime lord Mark Richardson's minions, sparking a wave of violent assaults on homes and businesses. Mr

Big, later identified as former Union Bears leader McGill, declared war on Richardson and his associates, including the notorious Daniels crime family in Glasgow. Mr Big's henchmen, a

faceless and terrifying group known as Tamo Junto (TMJ), have executed a series of arson attacks and other brutal assaults on homes, businesses and vehicles linked to Richardson. Earlier

this week, we reported that a well-informed source claimed the Dubai-based Mr Big behind the attacks on Daniel targets, Ross McGill, had agreed to cease hostilities after being pressured by

cartel bosses in Dubai. Article continues below However, gangland enforcers Tamo Junto (TMJ) swiftly dismissed any talk of peace, vowing to continue the turf war. _FOR THE LATEST BREAKING
