Ex-Castleford Tigers Super League hooker Brandon Moore, 28, has been missing since Friday afternoon, his wife Mara said on Facebook.

‌ The mum-of-three said she has a seven week old baby at home, meaning she is struggling to search for him herself, and asked for people to report any sightings of him.

‌ Moore, who previously played in Super League for Huddersfield Giants, was named in semi-pro Championship club Batley Bulldogs' 21-man squad ahead of Saturday's game against Toulouse in

France. But he did not feature in their match day squad on Saturday.

message me?

"I have a 7 week old baby at home and 2 others so I can’t go hunting myself other than a car ride. Police contacted. Been missing approx 14 hours now. Thank you."

Moore is currently contracted to semi-pro side Batley Bulldogs(Image: Facebook)‌ Moore graduated Cumbria's RFL academy before making three first-grade games for Castleford as a teenager. He

joined Halifax in 2016 and scored 33 tries in 188 appearances in the Championship, the division below the sport's elite Super League competition.

He had a loan spell with Huddersfield Giants in Super League during the 2020 season and returned to Halifax until 2024. Last year, he joined West Yorkshire side Batley Bulldogs, where he has

made 47 appearances and scored six tries.

Speaking at the time, he said of the move: “It’s obviously happened quickly, I’ve been in Fax right before Christmas and I’m in here now, but I’m just looking forward to the change and the

challenge of starting at a new club.

them, so I’m looking forward to getting stuck in now.

“It’s a new environment and probably the change I need. It provides me with the motivation to get in here now and earn respect off the lads, hopefully cement a spot in the team.”
