Man rushed to hospital after being hit by glasgow bus as probe launched

AN INVESTIGATION HAS NOW BEEN LAUNCHED TO ESTABLISH THE FULL CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING THE CRASH. 23:11, 21 May 2025 A man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a bus in Glasgow.

The 62-year-old pedestrian was ploughed down by the public transport vehicle shortly after 12.30pm on May 21. Emergency services raced to the busy city centre street and the area was locked

down while they carried out a full probe of the scene. An investigation has now been launched to establish the full circumstances surrounding the crash. The extent of the man's injuries

has not yet been disclosed but he is receiving treatment at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Images taken from the scene show a police cordon with a screen erected near the front of the
