A BRITISH HOLIDAYMAKER RECALLED THE MOMENT HE ENJOYED A DRINK OVER IN THE SPANISH HOTSPOT AND WAS LEFT ASTONISHED BY HOW MUCH HE HAD TO PAY 13:08, 21 May 2025Updated 16:34, 21 May 2025

Benidorm has proven itself as the ultimate destination for a budget-friendly jolly with mates, as one man discovered on his visit. The resort offers day-long clubbing, endless cocktail

sipping and a chance to witness numerous stag parties making fools of themselves, making it the perfect getaway spot. However, the burning question remains: how much will you pay for a pint

there? That mystery was solved by one Brit currently enjoying himself in the Spanish resort town. Graham White was gobsmacked when he stumbled across a pub offering pints at less than the

price of a cup of tea. Although tea cost £1.66 in that establishment, a pint of beer was available for a mere 83p – an unbelievably thrifty find, especially compared to UK prices. The

48-year-old, who shares his Spanish escapades on his Benidorm Grumet TikTok channel, captured his discovery in a video, which elicited shock from viewers amazed by the pint's low cost.

In the footage, Graham pans across the patrons and staff before querying the barmaid: "How much is it for a pint of Estrella?" She responded: "One euro, one euro for a

pint," confirming that it was definitely time for Graham to order a round. Interested in the comparison, he then enquired about a cup of tea, only to find out its price was double that

of a pint at two euros. This price revelation staggered some of Graham's 59,000 TikTok followers, with a few sceptical souls even doubting the veracity of his claim. But that did not

put him off and he triumphantly declared to his doubters: "People called me a liar and said there was no place in Benidorm where you can get a one-euro pint. So I went in and got

one." Graham hailed it as the "cheapest bar in Benidorm," and expressed astonishment that a cup of tea was "double for a cup of tea". Article continues below

Finder.com suggests that the typical cost of a pint in London stands at £6.50, while the national average across Britain hits £5.44. Therefore, holidaymakers in Benidorm can expect to enjoy

several rounds for the price of a single London pint. Affectionate and humorous responses poured into the comments section with one user jesting: "Why would you bother with anything

else?", while another comment indicated that Benidorm was "cheap as chips" in comparison to alternative holiday hotspots. Other people also praised the bar Graham went to,

with comments such as "Love the price, pity I don't drink," "Went here yesterday, the food is ace as well," "Bargain of the day," and "May as well get

the pints in!"
