All of the road plans have been revealed for the huge Arbury Estate housing development in Nuneaton. An official planning application has now been submitted to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough

Council for the development on Arbury Estate-owned land off Heath End Road. It asks for the green light for a new 'neighbourhood' which would include 1,525 homes, a mixed use local

centre - including a possible hot food takeaway - with associated parking. Also a one form entry primary school and parks. New transport access will be needed for the site. This includes

for cars, pedestrians and cyclists. Within the application are a number of documents that detail the transport plans. READ MORE: LARGE 999 RESPONSE AS 'SIGNIFICANT FIRE' HITS TWO

HOMES IN NUNEATON READ MORE: WARNING OVER DAY-LONG CLOSURE OF MAIN NUNEATON ROUTE NEAR GRIFF ROUNDABOUT They explain that public access to the site will come from four junctions into the

development. These are: HEATH END ROAD SITE ACCESS The proposed primary access to the site is via a new junction on Heath End Road. It is proposed it will be located just west of existing

bridge, to the right of the existing access into the site. The junction will be formed of a priority T-junction. WALSINGHAM DRIVE SITE ACCESS The proposed primary access to the site from the

southern development at Bermuda Estate. The connection will facilitate the connectivity with A444 further south and the proposal integrates with the existing curvature of the road. ATHOLL

CRESCENT SITE ACCESS Is designed as what is described as a secondary street profile that will allow for a bus route. It is designed as a T-junction into existing road. CHARNWOOD AVENUESITE

ACCESS The most western all modes site access is designed as an 'alternative tertiary street' in a T-junction with the existing road. The application also talks about a new link

road to the south linking into Walsingham Drive. This would be effectively a relief road from Heath End Road and would also be used by buses. All of the documents can be found on the

council's website by searching in the planning section for reference 040707. People can have their say on the proposals and the deadline for all responses is February 24. The target

decision date for the hybrid application is April 29.
