Police have confirmed that a dad who was out on a boat trip with his son remains missing at Draycote Water. Warwickshire Police has this afternoon (May 30) confirmed that the search for a
man continues at the nature spot in Rugby. The force has said that the man was on board a boat with his teenage son when it capsized. A spokesperson said: "The son was quickly rescued
and was found to not be injured. "The search for the father is ongoing, using various land and water search equipment and resources." Both police and Warwickshire Fire and Rescue

searching for the man, who has not been identified publicly. The force has said that the devastated family are being given specialist support. It has asked that well-wishers stay away as the
search operation now enters the 24 hour mark. "We continue to ask that the public avoid the area so as not to distract our searchers," the force said in a statement. "We will
continue to issue updates when they are available. We thank you all for respecting the privacy of the family at this difficult time." West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) previously
confirmed that medics treated a teenage boy who had been pulled from the water. He was assessed but did not require further treatment and was discharged at the scene.
