Police have revealed they have arrested a man after a five-hour standoff in Coventry. Officers were called to Villa Road in Radford this morning (Friday, January 3). Neighbours dialled 999
after a man was seen on the roof of a property on Villa Road. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the incident at around 11.25am. Villa Road was cordoned off at the junction with

nerve-wracking.' At around 5pm today (January 3), the man, who has not been named, voluntarily agreed to come down from the roof of the property on Villa Road. He was arrested as part
of an ongoing investigation, West Midlands Police said. In a statement issued this evening (January 3), West Midlands Police said: “A man in his 30s has been arrested following an incident
in Coventry. We were called to Villa Road in Radford after reports of a man on the roof of a property. “Officers have been in attendance throughout today (January 3), engaging with the man.
